McCain for change? How can this be?

I was about to ask exactly the same thing.  I need an explanation as to how a candidate who's voted with Bush's policies 90% of the time can claim he's the candidate for change, and how Washington is broken and needs to be fixed, when he's been there longer than most other Washington "insiders," and hasn't reformed it much in all those years.  Unless he's planning on doing a 180 on his own beliefs for the past however many years, like he did to court the conservatives, I can't imagine what he plans to change.

Well I would like to think that someone can change their mind in a heartbeat at a time when political future becomes a major point but it seems to happen not very often for the older crowd.  And to my knowledge he will be the oldest ever if elected president.  Think about that one.
