  1. I think he made a GREAT choice!

Not only is her son going to Iraq soon; && her baby boy has downe syndrome; but her teen daughter is pregnant.

    It makes her very relatible.

  2. This attests to his poor judgment!  Seriously, what the he!!?

  3. Because she is a reformer just like him that is not afraid to stand up to the political status quo.

She has run the State of Alaska for two years... was a mayor before that.... is in charge of the Alaska National Guard... has visited Iraq in that capicity... has real life experience on the ENERGY CRISIS.

What's Obama Done?  Trying to go from Lawyer/Writer to President.

I'd go with Palin in a heartbeat!

  4. He think Hillary Clilnton voters are too stupid to know a women in office does not mean she supports women or rights for women!  Just another mistake by him to minimize women and his perception of their  thinking

  5. Yes and he chose her.

It was thanks to the media and dozens of obnoxious morons who decided to blow the entire story about her daughter out of proportion and pretend like it's some kind of national crisis. That certainly isn't McCain's fault.

  6. Initially, I thought he made a brilliant choice but more and more stuff is coming out.

I could care less that her daughter is pregnant.   I don't believe that has any bearing on her ability to be VP.

I do care that she made statements to the effect that she didn't allow lobbyists into her office as governor but she hired one to represent her town when she was mayor.

You want/need a lobbyist?  Go get one - I want one! - but don't be lying about it.  Just keep your trap shut.

  7. he wanted to steal women voters from Obama

  8. I know it...her husband got a DUI 22 years ago.  What kind of monsters are they?  Her daughter is pregnant and not aborting the baby, what sickos.  I'm using sarcasm here for those who won't understand.  Look, Palin went against the grain, like John McCain and stood up to corruption, sometimes even in her own party.  She also shares Republican values and energizes Reps to get out and vote.  Just because she isn't some Senator without any executive experience, doesn't disqualify her.

  9. He owes it to her because a long time ago McCain and Palin had a baby out of wedlock...He said that if she ever gave it up he would someday let her be his VP. And the rest is history

  10. Karl Rove and other members of the Republican n**i Party chose for him

  11. desperation, he had to do something big after Obama's performance last week.

Funny how the "maverick" couldn't seem to buck the party establishment and choose who he wanted, Lieberman.

  12. Things are tougher in Alaska.

He wanted someone tough that would be an asset to him.

  13. I don't know, ask him?

  14. he is very impulsive.

  15. you say that like she was his last choice or something, like people were turning him down.

  16. Karl Rove wouldn't allow him to pick Joe Lieberman, who was the only one he wanted. So to spite them he picked her. She had been on the long list, but had not been considered as a serious candidate—because of that scandal she is under investigation for—so they had not vetted her out.

Whoa! McCain likes to gamble. He likes to go against conventional wisdom. But this is a gamble he has lost.

  17. Cuz  hes an idoit... and thinks American women are dumb and will vote for Palin just because shes a women....

  18. He's a MAVERICK aka a f*ckin' idiot and he has ruined that word.

  19. I agree with LeAnne.  If the Dems really are confident that it is self-evident that McCain chose poorly, why are they attacking her?  More over, why are they attacking her for the choices of her daughter?

I think time will tell if it was a good choice or not, but in my opinion his choice in running mate appears more methodical and deliberate than rushed.

  20. I take it you disagree with McCain’s choice for VP. A great majority of the republicans think that John McCain has hit the mark, because she is more popular right now than Obama.

She is pro-life which will unite the republican base for McCain. He lacked in the polls only because our base was not unified, but now we are and many on the fence will also be very interested in what she has to say in her speech the RNC.

  21. it wasnt his first choice, it's like marriage!!! She's hot though, I'll give her that but i'm voting for Obama- Biden.

  22. Lack of judgment, pure and simple.

He thought the shock value would jump-start his still-born campaign, but just ended up in a deeper hole. His hurricane grandstanding attempt fizzled too.

I'm betting that Palin will not be on the ticket. There will be some trumped up sob story about something that forces her to "reluctantly withdraw" her name. They may even do it before she is arrested.

  23. Grasping at straws....he needed to shake up his boring stifled campaign.  And boy did it.  Now with the media falling all over themselves to get the scoop, it gives the appearance that the Democrats are the ones doing all the dissing and digging.  It's pure politics at it's most desperate level.

  24. Time will reveal the effectiveness of this pick - already the democrats are falling all over themselves trying desperately to discredit Palin.

Why do they feel this is necessary if she's such an alleged boost to Obama's campaign?

  25. McCain was looking for a winner VP and found it in Sarah Palin. They will win in a landslide in November. Watch and see.
