McCain has a passion for gambling tens of thousands of dollars at a time in casinos at the craps table... ?

Question

He's been known to play for 14 hours straight. It's ok though -- it's his wife's money that he's gambling with (and losing).

However, if he does become president, is it ok for him to take risks with US taxpayer's money? With such a personality, would he be willing to roll the dice on national security? Is it wise to elect a compulsive gambler to the White House?

Sounds interesting, sure it will be brought up if true to those values voters McCain is so desperate to get votes from.  There are many evangelicals who are ardently against gambling, I agree with them that compulsive gambling has extracted a huge social costs on many families.

The type of problem gambling mentioned would be consistent with how McCain is a compulsive philanderer ( another McCain trait largely ignored) . Both types of behavior give a similiar  rush.
