Question:

McCain has shown he doesn't care about family values by appointing Palin a mother of 5 as VP?

McCain attempted to get a political advantage by selecting Palin, but he threw family values away by picking a mother of 5 (one of them with down syndrome). How is she going to be an effective mother for them? Will she place them in child care in the House of Representatives? Or will they running or crawling on the Reps floor? Or is she going to get a nanny to take her place as mother while she is in the White House? McCain nor Palin seem to care about mothering these children. They are willing to sacrifice their raising to the political god they worship and the religious conservatives are supportive of this. Do you see the hypocrisy in this?

  1. I can only assume you are not married and do not have children as it is evident by this baseless question.

  2. My god, what century do you live in, in your mind?

Her husband will have plenty of time to take care of the kids.  And she will see them every day she is in town.

    Seriously... WTF?

  3. What happened to you libs wanting equality? Womens rights?

Are people supposed to quit working just because they have children? My wife works, we have kids. We do just fine!

    Get real buddy!

  4. I see no difference in Palin being a vice president with children as a president with children.  Obama has two.  He and his wife will be on the road doing something most of the time if he is elected.  Michelle Obama will have responsibilities as first lady and would have things to do that will take her away from her children...and we know that she will be sure to keep herself in the spotlight alongside her husband.

  5. THE WRITER OF THIS QUESTION MUST BE A TOTAL DUMMY STAY AT HOME MOM LIVING OFF THE SYSTEM BESIDES OBAMA'S OLD LADY IS 40+ YEARS OLD AND JUST NOW BEING PROUD TO BE HERE THEY HAVE 2 CHILDREN WHO WILL RAISE THEM OH I SEE THEY WILL BE RAISED ON THE SYSTEM JUST LIKE DAD ALL OF HIS CHILD HOOD YOU DUMMYS HATE TO LOOSE YOUR WELFAIR RAISES DONT YOU

  6. She isn't a single mother. I know this may be a big surprise but sometimes husbands that father children can become daddys. I know its a crazy notion and totally turns the role of the sexes on its head but its possible.

  7. glimore, I think the VP would hang out in Cabinet meeting mostly, and in the Senate not House side, on occasion.  Pretty sure, they get a nanny.  I want to know if the old man gives up his fish business, or just flies in on weekends?

  8. Obama has children too. Are you saying that Obama neglects his children?

Edit: You are not a conservative. Why lie? You are a Liberal and an Obama supporter. At least be honest about that.

  9. No.

McCain has shown that he doesn't care about this COUNTRY by choosing Palin.

  10. No i dont see the hypocrisy but i do see another vain attempt by a liberal pip squeak to grasp at straws.

  11. Shows he is willing to do anything to win.

  12. Her husband can be a stay at home dad. Also the baby with 4 other siblings will have more than enough love.

So a woman's place is in the home and in the kitchen.

  13. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... YOU IDIOT!

  14. Just an FYI:  A woman staying home "mothering her children" does NOT equal family values!!!

This is the 21st century!  Women are allowed to be mother's and continue working (no matter what the occupation), and you know what, we can even vote now too!!!!!

  15. Is Obama showing he doesn't care about his fatherly responsibilities? He has kids too...is it just the mothers job to take care of the kids? Do you not see the hypocrisy in your question? If Obama was white would you still be voting for him?

  16. So I guess if a woman and a man are up for the same job, the boss should look at the woman and say, "well I can't pick her, she's got kids to raise" so the man gets promoted above the woman??!!  Are you living in the 1960's???  This is what women have been fighting for!!  Equal pay, equality in the work place!!  Quit attacking this woman's family values because she has a job!!

  17. As VP she will preside over the senate not the house of representatives.

I'm sure as governor she has all ready worked out her requirements for handling her family duties.

  18. Same thing she is doing now as a governor.  Get over it, women work. The better argument to make would be why you would choose someone who is the governor of such a sparsely populated state--just how much experience is she getting there really?

  19. He cares about family values to the point that it will get him votes from the ultra-conservatives. But does anything really think that Palin will move her family to D.C.permanently? Her husband is a champaign Iron Man snowmobile racer. The state is beautiful beyond belief with more wildlife than people. The family will be homesick in month and go back to Alaska with their father to live while she stays in Washington.

  20. No, I fail to see any wrong in his appointment of Palin.

She is obviously a quite capable mother and politician.  Many families have five children or more and are still quite capable of achieving great things.  We should be commending her for her accomplishments and McCain for his selection.

Your question is a ludicrous attempt at grasping at the proverbial straw.

  21. I think your looking at this wrong.  Just because you have children doesn't mean you can't be successful.  I'm sure she'll work something out to where her time will be divided.

  22. I believe a women and a mother can work full time and have it all,  I do not want or think they will win so it really does not matter , but when a women does take office, and if she is a mother then it will not make her weak, it will just prove that women can do everything! Obama 08!

  23. I will be laughing my *** off if she becomes pregnant during the campaign.

  24. He has shown how desperate he is. I cannot believe that he made such a pathetic move.

  25. The only thing that will save them is if Palin's husband becomes a stay at home Dad.

I think that ONE parent should be there for the kids.  I think that most voting Americans agree.

If she's elected and he doesn't quit his job and stay home with the kids - then they CANNOT be promoting family values without looking like hypocrites.

  26. well, how are any of the men (Obama included) effective fathers? they all have children... they balance their lives... and hello spouses anyone? it's not always the woman who has to do everything for the kids... and not every spiritual person feels that a woman's place is only the home.

  27. What I see is the Obama supporters getting desperate.  Their nominee wouldn't allow his bruised ego to select Hillary as his vp--which would have guaranteed the win for the Democrats.  The Republicans did a huge sigh of relief collectively, when he chose Biden--the one who received 9000 votes during the primaries.  What about Obama's family values when he sat in that church with his children, letting them listen to that venom coming out of Wright's mouth??   ***

  28. McCain is simply pandering to the Hillary Democrats.  The intelligent ones will not be duped.

Those who think a woman does NOT have the "right to choose" SHOULD vote for McCain/Pa.. (whatever her name is).

McCain "believes Roe v. Wade is a flawed decision that must be overturned."

McCain and the Republicans believe a woman does NOT have the right to decide whether to have an abortion!

    sexist and ignorant

  30. his only after Hilary's voters and how the h....l can they've been saying that Obama have no experience to be president but yet they elect someone with only two years of experienced to be vice P it makes no since to me at all.

  31. Palin appears to be representative of modern parenthood considering most women work outside the home.

That's cute, when has the White House ever experienced baby spit up on the carpets.
