I know Sarah personally.  She is intelligent and surrounds herself with knowledgeable people.  Her integrity is unquestionable.

When she ran for mayor of Wasilla (my home town) there were detractors who said, "She has no experience!"  You know what?  She kicked @ss!  Wasilla grew and improved exponentially under her direction.

She has done a great job as Governor of this state.  Her approval rating is over 80%.  Is there any other individual in office who can say that?

We aren't all rubes from the Frozen Wasteland up here.  SARAH ROCKS!

EDIT:  Hillary did NOT prove America did not want a woman president.  Hillary proved America did not want HILLARY as President!

She is the Governor of a state that has a lower population than the top 15 largest US cities. I think she's small time. I would not feel comfortable with her as the commander-in-chief if something happened to the President. I was considering choosing John McCain recently, but I definitely won't now. I will be interested to see the Vice Presidential debates. I think it could be a blood bath.

No you are wrong.  She has no experience .  Two years first term Governor and before that a mayor, in Alaska.  No foreign experience.  Just gave birth to a down syndrome child a few months ago.  Can you really see her as a Commander in chief if that was necessary.  Come on , get real.  Ridiculous.

McCain made an excellent choice. Main stream America wants change in Washington. Not the same old tax and spend and corruption Obama/Biden represents. Conservatives, women, families, working men and women, taxpayers, gun owners, country people, and so many others now have someone to get excited about.

And in 2012 the race could very well be between Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton. The conservative working woman, VS the leftist elitist Leisure Suit Larry impersonator.

It is so amusing to watch the liberal Obama supporters whining about Governor Palin's lack of experience. What an absolute hoot.

I think people are even more likely not to vote for McCain after his VP pick.  95% of America has never even heard of Sarah Palin.  Plus, Hillary's already proven that America does not want a female president.  McCain is old, if he dies, Palin will be President.. can you imagine Palin being president?? I don't think she has the experience necessary for the job.

* has the record of the most beloved Governor in the US by her state (Alaska)

* is a vocal, huge proponent of American energy independence & Alaskan drilling

* has actually been leading people for the past several while Obama & Biden NEVER have led anyone!

* shelved her state's pork-laden Bridge to Nowhere that McCain has ridiculed on the trail

* will join McCain in fighting hard against earmarks

* is a huge fighter of corruption in Alaska

* is about as far outside the Beltway as you can get

* ran on the agenda of stopping wasteful gov't spending

* is the mother of 5 kids!

* has had her son deploy to Iraq

* is for a strong US defense

* is a widely acknowledged rising star in the Republican party

* is an ice fisherman

* is a moose hunter

* is a small business owner and a lifetime NRA member

All in all, she's a truly fine leader, citizen and patriot - who truly represents Americana (Motherhood & Apple pie)!

Aaron, change doesn't come from corrupt Chicago. Palin is very attractive, articulate, intelligent and an avid hunter. She is the mother of five, a former mayor and current governor of Alaska. She is a card carrying member of the NRA and is anti-abortion. John McCain just won the election! I wasn't going to vote in this election. This selection has made me change my mind.
