  1. Personal surrender is not national surrender. He has met a previous set of bad guys face to face. Evil is not an abstract theological concept to him. Attack his ideas, his political decisions to your heart content. I have done so from the Right myself. Attack his character, his history of sacrifice for this country, his commitment to his conscience and you expose the shallowness of your own understanding of those concepts. Make this campaign about ideas, policies, the future direction of this country and the Right wing of this country might have trouble seeing past previous disagreements with John McCain to being able to seeing a dimes worth of difference between the two candidates. Don't poke us and we might stay home. Make it about his character and people who can't stand his guts ideologically will crawl over broken glass to vote against the beneficiary of such attacks. You are crossing a very dangerous line.

  2. he serve his country well a long with a lot of other MEN who never made it back we were fighting the north vietnamese not terrorists  and we were willing to die you want to say he and a lot of men were coward becouse they were capture. were you in the service was obama.s you haven,t walk in my shose or seen what i seen or put up with watching your friend die next to you SO DON,T YOU DARE OR EVEN SUGGEST HE WAS

  3. you bet ye.

  4. I'm not a McCain supporter, but as for his time spent as a Vietnam prisoner, he's a hero.  I don't care for his politics, but I do admire him for surviving such a h**l.  I think you need to grow up and try to understand humanity before you insult others for things you have no comprehension of.

  5. I am still trying to figure out why just because he was in the armed forces and captured makes him a better candidate than Barack.

  6. He survived as an individual while we as a nation mostly forgot of his existence.  He is a real live hero if ever there was one. He lived through something most of could not have, and is a better man for it.

We should be proud that someone of his caliber would want to serve this country.  He has experience and drive and leadership ability.  We will be well served.

  7. What?  The people who captured McCain when he bailed out of his plane were not terrorists, they were North Vietnamese soldiers.  I have seen patently absurd and demonstrably false things said about both McCain and Obama during this campaign, but your claim is so silly as to make me think you cannot possibly be serious.  A "terrorist" is not just someone with whose political philosphy you disagree, or even someone who commits mass murder.  A terrorist is someone who intentially attacks civilians to try and achieve some political end.  If there is no political agenda behind an attack, regardless of the number of casualties, there is no terrorism.
