The grand majority of politicians are elitists, including Obama.  None of them give a d**n about the people of the country.  When will people figure this out?  Probably when the depression hits us, unless WW3 comes first.

Would anyone here do it?  AND, the immigrants do it for *far* less than $50 an hour.

So, who is out of touch?

1) McCain's stmt was a dare.  The immigrants do this type of work for $5 an hour.  Would you do that?

2)  I tried to do this type of work when I was an athletic, healthy teen.  I was 17 years old and I used to dance for 8 hours a day, but even I only lasted in the fileds for half a day before I had to be taken to hospital for heat sickness.

Well, audio. This is actually from a speech McCain gave to a labor group two years ago.  Kind of amazing it is just coming out now, as if it just happened.

This guy is a treasure trove of BS.  Kind of amazing the mainstream media doesn't report more of it.  Why, I almost think they might be biased.  ;-)

You need to learn about metaphors and examples. He was making a point that wasn't meant to be taken literally at $50/hour.

because I'm sure he knows as well as you or I, that a person who really needs a job and got offered $50/hour to pick lettuce would.
