Actually you first 3 answerers are the lame ones. It WAS meant to be hypothetical to see if people could get past their political prejudices. Note that not one of you named a viable VP candidate which suggests you're short-sighted. And as for my vote, it's open until Election Day as far as I'm concerned. Get off your political high horses & give some meaningful dialogue cementing your position.

  1. I support Obama, and I do not think this type of invective belongs in politcal discourse.

Get over it...OBAMA will be the next president, and he will get there taking the high road.

    NO SWIFT BOATS

  2. not everyone suffers from PTSD.  who says McCain does?

and even if he did, there are so many various degrees to which someone can suffer from the syndrome that it could be as mild as nightmares or momentary dejavu.

actually, this is a fairly lame hypothetical question.

  3. Wow.  You guys are really reaching now.

  4. The American government is stronger than one or two leaders at the top.  Should President McCain become disabled, his "weak" Vice President will step up and grow into the job to best of his/her abilities, knowing that the President has a solid core of advisers to help him or her through the pit falls of a very difficult job.  Let's do as our forefathers said, to trust in God to be with the American people.

  5. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you wouldn't agree with McCain regardless of his service.
