What's his involvement in this case?

Backer of the McCanns, paying for their legal team and their involvement with Metodo3.

Offered his home for interviews and travelled to North Africa to 'search' for Madeleine.

Now that the case file has been made public, we discover that he's also been contacting witnesses IN PERSON, namely Robert Murat and Martin Smith - any more you care to add to the list...

Latest revelation - had a meeting IN PERSON with the PJ.

What do you reckon his involvement is, is it more than just a backer?

Takes a lot to get on a plane and visit witnesses in person - isn't this illegal?

Brian Kennedy is one of the richest men in the uk, as far as I know he is director of Weatherseal Windows and Space Kitchens.

Mr Kennedy, seems to play a big part in this case, I wonder if he was the one who silenced the Smith family, who were very credible witnesses to the case,I also read that their is 24 photos that a witness has of the tapas 9 taking while they were having their meal, it has been said that these photos could reopen the case, I wonder how true this is, have you any info, about this, thanks.

Hi Delly, nice to see you back.

I find it very hard to believe that Mr Kennedy is just an innocent benefactor and he’s not just doing it out of the goodness of his heart and to get away with the interference with witnesses and talking to the PJ etc is indicative his interest is part of the ‘bigger fish’ but it seems along with the new law passed by GB the Mc’s and their cronies are above all reproach and woe betide anyone who dare challenge them or get in their way, power and corruption at its most evil.

And if I had any information on this case they would be the last people I would give it to.

This is amazing. I have not been on here for nearly a year and cannot believe the McCann thing is still going on.

I think the point made 'If it ever comes to an end' is crucial. I don't think it will ever come to an end while there is money to be made by the McCanns.

Right from the start there has been so much money flying around it seems obscene and frankly with all that has been going on I find it absolutely amazing that Maddie has still not been found.  Why anyone who barely knew the McCann's would want to get so involved really does need questioning. Hence excellent question.

By the same yardstick, you could well ask who is dave s & 17pdr & andrew T & a host of other strangers to the McCanns who spend their days (& nights, i'm sure) doing their best or should i say worst to slate Madeleien's parents.

At least this guy is helping the search for Madeleine....something positive opposed to something negative.

Delly, I just cant understand what is in it for this man to back the Mccanns AND to involve himself so deeply in the case that he is contacting suspects and/or witnesses in person.

In any case, whatever his motivation, surely this is interfering with a police investigation and nobbling of witnesses (or whatever the offical term is)
