They also state that they will not be suing the PJ just yet, as they wanted to only concentrate on finding Maddy.

Didn't stop them suing the UK papers though did it?????

Your views please?

  1. I hope they let us know when their seach is going to start.

  2. You telling me Paul that if your son was missing you would just give up??

    Me no think so

  3. i want to believe that you care more about the girl than you do about being a wum

    but its impossible

  4. At the end of the day this is their little girl, they will probably never stop.

Also I think they had every right to sue the papers after the disgusting accusations that were spread over the front pages.

  5. I am sure they will search until they find her or other conclusion but I think there are many answers that are awaited from the parents and their friends on that night.

All is not what it seems but they are paying for their negligence and their friends making suspicious by  remembering a man carrying a child 286 days after the disappearance - not day 1.

They commandeered the press in such an obscene way for so long while 100,000 other missing children get forgotten for want of money to buy a blood thirsty press.

Once home they complained as though they had not asked the press to occupy every inch of their pages.

Something is missing and it is not just Maddie!!

  6. I would have thought that , even with your vindictive mind, that the McCanns will continue to search for their missing daughter. Would you, in their boots, not do the same ? As for suing the Portuguese's papers that's their choice not yours. In my opinion if they did they would be as successfull as they were with the British press.

  7. didn't know they had actually started searching... learn something new everyday eh!!!!

  8. They have no need to search !

  9. They have a lonely journey ahead.......

  10. I think that they should continue searching for her! If it was my daughter i wouldnt sleep untill i found her!

  11. You could be next.

  12. Continue to search? when did they ever start?? But I bet it won't be in Portugal! As for suing, why not sue the world and be done with it! but it won't stop the questions...........!

  13. This is nothing more than a charade. The despicable and loathsome McCanns with their complete and utter arrogance should be silenced for good. preferably with a drop at the end of a rope.

  14. I'm glad they're still looking for their lost daughter - I hope they never give up.  There is still a child missing.

As for your comment re suing - as they said in the interview, the most devastating thing about the accusations against them was that it affected the search for Madeleine.  I'd sue too, and so I would think, would you.

  15. The only person i'm concerned about is Madeline.  I have no sympathy for the parents, at the end of the day they acted irresponsibly - leaving 3 young children in an apartment on their own in a strange country.  What you wouldnt do in your home country you shouldnt do abroad.

  16. Of course they will continue searching - and so they should.

The money from the papers "apology" will enable them to search.  They didn't actually sue the papers by the way.

  17. All i can say is at what point through all of this will they be charged with child neglect, why are they above the law. Is it now time for them to be charged with it ?

  18. I think with them suuing the british papers is different, in my opinion they should have atleast been offered support by the media over here not ridiculed and accused of things. If our own country wasn't supporting them, what chance was there that any other country would?

This is a horrible subject matter and it always will be until Maddy is found, the whole situation has been a total farce and i would just hope that heaven forbid anything like that ever happened to my own child I would have the support needed and the strength to keep going to find my child. They have been through a terrible ordeal and I admire their strenght to continue.

  19. I wish they would sue someone in Portugal; because then we might get the Mc Canns on a stand under oath. That would be really interesting. They will pick easy targets to sue for libel, but anyone like the PJ that might resist and take the case in front of a judge will be avoided for a long time, if ever.
