McCullum banking on new faces to come good against South Africa – Cricket News Update
As the team prepares life in the absence of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BB-McCullum-c1129, is excited to see some of the youngsters coming in the national team, and is banking on them to prove their mettle against hosts South Africa.
The composition of their squad was greatly overshadowed by the captaincy saga, but the new Kiwi leader was quick to look at the positives, and express his enthusiasm at working with some of the new faces.

"We've got some guys with a bit of pace. They haven't got the records of the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Dale-c52110 Steyns or Morne Morkels but they've got some really good skills and hopefully we will see those skills unfold," McCullum said.
The series will be an important one for McCullum from a personal point of view, where he will be aiming to inject his own philosophy into the team.
"We're going to find out a lot about the new guys in the next little while and they are going to be exposed to some pretty extreme circumstances so for the development of the squad and for those guys, it's a really exciting time. From a leadership point of view, we've got to find a way to use the resources we do have, rather than focus on what we don't have."
The first T20I will be played on December 21 in Durban, before the action moves to East London and Port Elizabeth respectively.
