Reading’s manager, Brian McDermott has admitted that he isn’t happy with the way his side lost to Chelsea and feels that his team deserved a whole lot more from the game.
In the game against the Blues, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-c10193 Guthrie struck for Reading, as they gave the newly promoted side the lead in the game.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Cahill-c14439 went on to score from distance, as he brought the scores level in the match.
Following that goal, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Branislav-Ivanovic-c7994 went on to find the back of the net, as they gave the Blues the lead and the win from the game.
Despite watching his team lose the Reading manager isn’t too convinced with the way Chelsea won the game.
The manager thinks that the Blues were lucky to win the game and that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707’ goal shouldn’t have stood.
He stated that his goal was scored from an offside position and had that goal not been scored, his side could have gone on to win the game.
"We didn't deserve to lose and I thought we were going to win it," McDemott told reporters.

"I'm gutted the linesman has got the decision wrong for the third goal. It's not a good night for him, and unfortunately that means it's not a good night for us.”

"It was clearly offside, which is really disappointing. People make mistakes and he made one tonight."
Despite Reading losing, they displayed their true worth in the game. They went on to take the game to Chelsea and made life very hard for the established Premier League side.
Time and time again, Reading dominated possession and ran the game. It wasn’t until very late in the game, that The Blues actually went on to take control of the match and finish it off.
Should Reading maintain their form and continue to build on it, they could easily give a number of teams a run for their money this season, as they look to ensure their survival in the Premier League at the end of the season.
