McDermott’s departure tough on the team: James Pattinson – Cricket News Update
Young medium-pacer James Pattinson has stated that the departure of bowling coach http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Craig-John-McDermott-c51704 has been a disappointment for the team, particularly the younger bowlers who had been under his tutelage.
“It is tough [without McDermott],” Pattinson observed. “The bowling group were very happy with his input into the team, he did a fantastic job, especially for the young guys coming into the team and trying to find their way.”
McDermott had been serving as bowling coach of the national squad for a year, and announced his resignation from the post in May this year, claiming that the team’s hectic schedule for the upcoming season had prompted him to put family first and take the
decision to step down.
