I just rang up McDonalds about my Saturday night shift informing them i couldn't make it. I was told i needed to go into work and speak to the manager about finding a replacement.

Why do i have to do this?

  1. So that they can counsel you on why you won't be present for your shift, and attempt to find someone to show up in your time slot.

  2. Thay gonna fire u if u dont tell thim that its for some1 dieing

  3. Check your employee hand book. By the law you should be able to make few call and sick. You are nice enough to call but if it happens so many time that your employeer have right to terminate.
