I believe that the sodas are free, but for food you might get a discount.

I don't think so.  I worked there once, and often heard rumors about free lunches, but all the managers I asked denied such things. So since I had no car, and a short 1/2 hour break, and there were no other fast food places close by, I ended up starving myself.

I worked at Mickey D's about 10 yrs ago and they gave me one meal (dinner usually, because I worked after school) as long as it was around $3-4, anything else, I paid for. Drinks were free.

They get a discount.  A friend of mine worked at McDonald's for several years. She'd get pop for free. But that was years ago. n
