The Quarter Pounder with cheese has two slices of cheese on it. If you order one without cheese, shouldn't it be cheaper? The McDonald's here in Va. says "No" Its the same price with or without.

  1. yeah thats dumb. 40 cents for cheese? thats crazy, you can just bring it home and put your own sliced cheese on it.

  2. It should be cheaper.  I always order the double cheeseburger without the cheese.  I have never complained because it is only 99 cents.  I understand your frustration!

  3. it should be cheaper ... but i guess its not cause it comes with that burger ... if you ask me i say its all a bunch of BS!

  4. That's the breaks.

The quarter pounder is made with cheese. You are changing that, whether you remove the cheese, the ketchup, or the onion bits.

  5. Well, the food is already dirt cheap as it is, so I don't see why people keep complaining.

If you disagree with the concept, take it home & put as much cheese as you desire.

  6. its not that big of a deal i know some places actually charge you when you take items off your order for example if you want no tomato or ketchup on the quarter pounder they will charge you extra just to take it off...

  7. IT SHOULD BE CHEAPER
