McDonalds Lean Beef Burger changes - anyone notice?

Im totally outraged that they have completely changed their Lean Beef Burger (Australia) without any notifications.

Its gone from a gourmet bun, baby coz lettuce, low fat tasty cheese, special mayo, tomato + lean beef pattie TO cheeseburger bun, regular lettuce, ketchup, low fat reg. cheese, tomato & lean beef pattie.

Tastes and looks like a glorified cheesburger - and they still have the nerve to charge the same price for getting less!!!

I hate Macca's - its off my list of takeaway options :(

I started getting annoyed when they changed the oil they usd for the chips - tastes like s*@t now. They've gone overboard i think!

It used to be my favourite burger- It had 'tatsoi lettuce mix' with cos, rocket and fancy lettuce, and the creamy bbq sauce/ mayo was the best- With ketchup it is disgusting, and yeah, I can't believe they have the hide to charge the same thing for a poorer quality product!

I can kind of see what their logic is, I mean, the specialty bun, lettuce and mayo were only for that product, but if you they changed the product to save money then they should pass on the saving to the customer!

I did notice that at my local Maccas they stuck a sticker on the picture of the Lean Beef Burger that said "Now with Ketchup" but if I had sent my partner to get me one I would not have known and would have gotten that c**p!

I can't say I have noticed, we don't live close enough to have Maccas regularly.

Can't say I have been real impressed since they started cutting down the amount of Australian potatoes they buy. Why would I want to support people who don't want to support me.

I have had it a few times but not for a long time now so I remember it being like it was the old way.  I will try it next time...

I HAVE NEVER TRIED IT..

i love the crispy chicken burger on the gourmet bun also.. if i got it on a cheeseburger bun ect, i would throw it at them and get my money back..

No i go for the fatty options like quarter pounders...oh so thats why ive gained 5 kgs
