I had a meeting with the Manager. I was about 15 minutes early because of a school thing i needed to go to to get my schedule and all. Well they told the manager i was their and he stared over at me about 4 times. After a little over 5 minutes i told them forget it and asked the guy to give him my application and he said no problem...Why was the manager acting like that? And will i still have a shot at the job?

  1. you have a shot at the job depending on the vacancy rate that that particular McD has. The manager made a bad first impression and willhave to make it up to you...

  2. he was surprised you were early cause i bet everyone els there is usually late.

                           hope i helped=D

  3. Well, to tell you the truth, the guy was probably a jerk. I used to be a manager at mcdees and the people that work there aren't the best society has to offer, if you get me. I would try something else, like walmart, kmart, target..something like that. McDonalds, despite what people may think, is really hard work because they never have enough people working a shift and you usually get stuck doing several things at once. I quit because the manager making the schedules wouldn't put enough people on my shift and I was trying to run the store on third shift with one person and six months pregnant, then they would come in and complain that the store wasnt clean enough. s***w that. Get something better..they call crappy jobs a "McJob" for a reason. :) Good luck. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to email me.

  4. It's not a good thing when you leave before the interview. I'd try a different McDonalds next time.

  5. Just because you were early for the meeting, does not mean he had the time to see you right than and there..maybe he was not ready at that point to do the interview.Maybe he looked were you were to acknowledge that he was aware you were there but he could not see you right than.. I have been to interviews and I wasn't called back for 1/2 hour after the interview time. However, I guess if the looks were mean looks, that would give you reason to feel uncomfortable. Depending on if it was an actual scheduled interview (that you left) and how you left(peacefully)...I'm not sure if you'll get hired..
