McDonalds blows! Can't America do better than this?

Question

Tired menu. The Angus burgers, specifically the deluxe, is probably the best thing they've ever done, but they are only available in select Mickeys cause they are test marketing them. Apparently McDonalds doesn't know when they have a winner. But alas they slather them in their disgusting bathroom caulk mayo like they saturate their other burgers in ketchup. I mean jesus they won't even spring for Hellmanns for gods sake. Fries have gone downhill. And why are the milks only 8 oz. and a whopping buck each? Do they think only kids drink milk? And did I mention that the grilled chicken--also with bathroom caulk mayo--is only 60% of the size of the bun its resting on?

Let me get this straight.. You hate McDonalds that much, but apparently you've eaten there enough times to know their menu by heart? The problem here lies with you, not America.  

This HAS to be a joke.. and besides, this is an assumption, not a question.

I'm not a big fan of McDonald's either, but I eat it occasionally.  I don't know if I'll be eating there anymore though after an interesting fact I just learned:  one of my classmates in my operations management class said her brother works for a company that sells some sort of scent that McDonald's puts in the meat they make their burgers with to make it smell better.  Apparently they smell really bad without it.  I have no idea if it's true or not, though, but just the thought of it being true really grosses me out!

I dont know why they are so popular...why cant jack in the box or taco cabana be more popular? they are alot better then micky d's ever was.

It could be just the Mickey D's you're eating at....or could very well just be your bland taste buds....or other unidentifiable problems....whatever the case may be McDonald's is by far still one of the most popular restaurants in the country....maybe other people like the saturation and the bathroom caulk mayo....

I agree with you 100%.  I used to eat there when I was a kid but then my palette developed and I haven't been to mickey d's in about 3 years.  They focus alot on kids by trying to lure them with toys so they can get fat and addicted to burgers when they get older and soon America will be full of obese people.  (not meant to be offensive)

If I have to eat fast food, I go to Mel's or Johnny Rockets.  Or Jack in the Box if I have to.

Personally I think ALL fast foods are not great but there are a lot  of people that will disagree with you   and me! You just have to stay away if you don't like it, that is what  I do! I don't begrudge any one cause that  is their preference like I know what I eat is my preference and not what every one agrees with but  I  want it and I don't want any one posting a negative to what I like!

Fast food isn't supposed to be great food anyways. It's quick, easy and made for convenience. That is why it's cheap. Their caulk mayo costs then less than Hellmann's. If they used Hellmann's mayo their food would have to be more expensive to make up for it. You are paying for what you get.

I know. It is so darn sad. I don't approve of mickey d's. I prefer wendys or burger king or carls. They don't give you the right portions. They have bad attitudes. Think of the little kids a little to much. and don't give promotions that much.
