McDonalds???????????????

I really need a job and am thinking about asking in my local McDonalds. The problem is that it isn't advertising for employers at the minute. Is it too rude for me to email or go in and ask for a job, even though they arn't recruiting?

Thanks

  1. Stay away from that place.  They're killing our kids slowly.

  2. Go in apply get an interview start the following day its so easy you don't even have to think

  3. Hey go put in an application you never know  when someone might quit and they'll already have your application....People get fired everyday and people quit everyday....

  4. Not at all.  McDonald's has a huge turnover rate, so even if they don't have a position for you today, that could change tomorrow.  You'd be fine to go in during a slow time (i.e. not lunch or dinner time) and ask to complete an application and speak to a manager.

  5. You should apply at McDonald's and complete an application even if they aren't advertising currently for new hires.  Be sure to check every week if they have openings, because it's the follow-up that will get you the job.

    Good Luck.

  6. No it is not rude. Most places are always accepting applications. You never know, they might have just fired someone and hadn't got around to putting a hiring sign up. If not, then your application will already be on file when they do start to hire.

  7. i dont think you should get a job at McDonalds because i think they have suckish food and i dont think you would get payed alot

  8. No not at all. I work at McDonalds but when I applied there was no advertising for new employees. But later I learned that McDonalds is always hiring, and looking for new people. Even if they aren't hiring now, you can just ask them to let you know when they are. :)

  9. just go in and ask for an application, especially with the kids going back to school soon, there will be all kinds of jobs opening up.

  10. Hahah I thought the same thing until I asked a person cleaning about getting a job there and they got the manager for me. They give you this card where you have to complete a survey on the internet, then they decide if they wanna call you from there. But, I don't think you want to work at McDonalds..they make you clean the washrooms and the lobby most of the time...you barely get the cashier job. That's why I quit! But if cleaning's for you...I say go for it!

  11. YES!!! the one good thing about McDonald's is that they are always hiring... even if they are not promoting that.
