McDonalds sweet tea?

Since It came out I've been drinking a lot of it. I thought it curious that it was free every tuesday in january. Why would they do that unless they knew ppl would come back for it. They charge only a dollar for a large. Everyone who's had it and liked it says how addictive it is. I find this very strange. Do you think they add anything to it?

In Pittsburgh sweet tea is not free and has only one size and they serve it cold.

i only buy it at certain time. i find it too sweet for me when i have it second time

i don't think they add any thing to the sweet tea because there is sugar already

hahha.. this makes me laugh because in Canada we find it gross how you don't sweeten the tea :). It's always a shocker to go to the states, order an iced tea and yuck.. it's iced TEA.

It's just a lot of sugar added thats all. Much better :)

Yes it was free on Tuesdays in January and now only costs a dollar for the large. so that people will try the product. They don't add anything to it, its tea water and sugar and ice.

Nah.  I'm a sweet tea fan by nature (true Southern girl) so I drink it all the time at home, at resteraunts, etc.

No..the free tea was to get people to try it and come back and buy it. It's good so thats why people keep drinking it. I don't think there is anything added to it.

people are addicted to it probably because its only ONE dollar. as opposed to starbucks that is a few dollars for any drink.

my friend who works there says they just use A LOT of sugar. its addictive for the same reason fast food can be addictive, it tastes good and its cheap.
