Question:

McFadden for Houshmandzadeh?

I could probably use a little more help in my WR positions and since I already have LaDainian Tomlinson, I think I can afford to trade McFadden. My other RB then would be Fred Taylor. My current WR are Larry Fitzgerald, Roy Williams, and Hines Ward. Thoughts, opinions?

  1. Get Randy Moss

    Terrel Owens

    Reggie Wayne

    Braylon Edwards

    and Larry Fitzgerald

  2. howd you get so stacked?

  3. its a good trade but you already have 3 great wr.  fred taylor wont get much playing time.  McFadden won't either but at least with him there is a hope of a breakout year.

  4. get rid of McFadden because the raider's offensive line is terrible at opening lanes to run through. for ex. lamont jordan, use to be a get running back until he was drafted by the raiders

  5. Well to tell you the truth I dont think McFadden will do good. So i would trade him for another RB. Your WR are actually really good. Your worst player is Williams. So you can trade both McFadden and Williams. Here is another question do you have a QB or TE? Because if you don't then trade Either one of them for a QB or TE but trade both McFadden for QB or something else your weak at. And Williams for another WR

  6. Housh will produce more (as long as this isn't a keeper league).  McFadden is good but if the raiders are smart they will split carries between Fargas, Bush, and McFadden.  Michael Bush has looked real good in the pre-season and Fargas has done nothing but produce for them, so I don't see McFadden being able to really produce for at least a year or two. Especially because that offense is still trying to find it self.

BUT if I was you, I would try and trade McFadden for a different RB. His stock is higher than it should be.  If you get rid of McFadden for a WR you are going to be hurting with just Fred Taylor who splits carries and is VERY injury prone.   Your receivers are bad as they are, and you can always find one of the waiver wire after the first week or two.  Running Backs are much harder to find.  OR you can email a team who has plenty of running backs and who needs a WR and offer the Housh (like a three way trade).

  7. Absolutely make that trade. TJ Housh is a sure bet for 90 catches, McFadden is good but will split time and is on a bad time. Look at the rankings on The Fantasy Jungle, they have TJ Houshmandzadeh as a top 20 pick.

  8. i would keep it the same...you have a good team as it is

  9. Personally I think McFadden is way overrated.  Fred Taylor is going to split carries with Jones-Drew.  Personally, I think if you can get Howsmydady for McFadden do it.

Also, you may be able to pick up Brian Lenoard in St. Louis if Jackson continues too hold out and he should do well..
