I'm just wondering, what is the McIntyre Finals System that the commentators keep talking about?

McIntyre is some super old guy who invented the finals system when the comps started expanding. It used to be top 5 but changed to top 8. The adjusted system that AFL use is better than NRL because it gives the lesser teams a slightly better chance while still advantaging the top teams.

there are 2 systems the nrl uses the 1v8 2v7 3v6 4v5

the afl system is 1v4 2v3 5v8 6v7 the afl used the current nrl system and changed to there current format years ago
