McLaren hoping high for a significant performance at the Spa in Belgium
These days the team McLaren of the Formula 1 is busy in dealing with disappointing issues. The recent performance of McLaren was not up to the mark and to compete at the upcoming F1 event, they need to work over their decelerating performance.
According to some reports the McLaren team is disappointed with its recent performance and is trying hard to resolve its issues to improve its winning possibility for the future. While talking about the team’s current situation and performance level, McLaren’s managing Director Jonathan Neale told the media that they are looking forward for a much better performance as they are performing under the mark. The recent average performance has led the team in despair and now it is working hard to show improvement in every aspect of the race. Neale while talking about the Hungarian Grand Prix expressed his views by saying that the race was obviously normal but we were finding it hard to shorten the gap between Red Bull and Ferrari team. He later said it is now the time to think differently and to experiment new things in racing, as it is probably the last time to compete for the title. Racing rivals like Fernando Alonso and Webber are not less than a problem for the McLaren drivers. It is unfortunate for the McLaren team that none of his drivers has been successful to finish the race in the top 3 spots from last two races.
Currently, the British veteran racer and former world number one Lewis Hamilton has performed superbly in the previous races held in Montreal and in Istanbul. But these days the veteran Briton racer is a little out of touch. While talking about the environment in the McLaren team’s den, the boss Jonathan Neale informed that the environment is still healthy as they are very hopeful to get a strong return in the next match. Later, Neale added that despite of the poor performances by the team lately, it is now focusing towards the upcoming Grand Prix race, which will be held in Belgium next week. The race at Spa in Belgium is definitely going to be a crucial race for the McLaren and Red Bull teams because they have to come back strong. Neale expressed his views quite confidently and said that their team is ready for the next battle in Belgium and the drivers will fight hard to capture the top position, as it is going to be the last chance for us. Later he added that the race at Spa will be a very close encounter as every driver will try to give his full to achieve the lead.
Despite of having tons of talent and remarkable reputation, the team McLaren needs a significant change to get the lead. Now it is very important for the team to deploy some new changes in their cars like Ferrari and Red Bull teams. It is also reported that there are many technical flaws in the vehicle of McLaren, which makes them unable to perform at their fullest. It is also reported that the new exhaust blown diffuser in the car is a total flop and has failed to improve the performance of McLaren’s car.
While talking about design and technical flaws of McLaren car, Jonathan Neale said we are working over the aerodynamics to make the vehicle’s performance more effective. He added by saying that there are very less options for them to experiment, as the regulations are very strict to upgrade a car but they are still trying hard to make sufficient effective changes to make our car fast and reliable in response.
Neale and his team are very well aware of the importance of the upcoming Grand Prix race, which is going to be held in Belgium at Spa. This is probably the last chance for the team Mclaren and Lewis Hamilton to make a strong come back.
