Mccabe gone from toronto?

i check yahoo and it said that mccabe is going to florida for this guy ? it is true and isnt mccabe worth more?

McCabe is the crappiest and slowest defenceman i hav ever seen...he only had a "good" year because he played along tomas kaberle, a true all star...so its pretty good that toronto can get rid of him...he is also eating up a lot of cap space..and i think he has a no movement or trade clause

If by 'this guy' you mean Mike Van Ryn, that's what I heard on Sportsnet.  And McCabe was worth more two or three years ago.  But the bottom line is his offense disappeared and his defensive play is mediocore at best.  The Leafs need the cap room for rebuilding.  Van Ryn is younger then McCabe, and definitely not flashy, but the Leafs need the cap room and Van Ryn is a good pickup.

the way they talked I thought McCabe waived the NTC. I did hear Van Ryn mentioned as the guy he would be traded for. McCabe isn't the worst d-man like everyone is making him out to be. However, I do think it is a necessary trade.

Yep he's on the move it's clean up time in Toronto. Looks like they will be rebuilding for years and years. They will have more money and youth.
