  1. no way at all this would be allowed

  2. Anything can happen. Teenagers who work there don't give a **** about your food.

  3. I have never heard of the 10 second rule however the 3 second rule is widely used where I work.

  4. probably

  5. By the look of some of the critters that staff macdonalds,I would say a 10 second rule would be the least of your worries.

Your health or comfort is of no concern to the workers or the McJunk elites alike.

  6. one of my daughters' used to work (when she was 16, for 4 months) at KFC ... their rule is 5 seconds. I'm thankful I'm a veggie (and an 'oldie') and don't eat in those places !!!!!!!

  7. I had a friend who use to work at a McDonalds and he said that they do stuff like that. It's not like that in all fast food restaurants though.

  8. that really doesn't make any difference... even if they don't drop it it's still no cleaner than ****.

  9. i would not doubt that workers do this often

  10. I worked at McDonald's for a summer when I was 15 years old.

We didn't have ANY rule like that.  If anything, the cleanliness rules were stricter than you would follow in your own kitchen . . . they cleaned everything regularly, including all the cooking equipment and the floors.  We couldn't even save any of the food we'd made, even if it was only 10 minutes old.  I personally threw out hundreds of burgers and Mcnuggets that were still plenty good.

I think he may be winding you up (which is a new term I'd never heard before today, but I like it! :) ).

  11. Who knows??? BUT THAT WOULD BE TOTALLY GROSS!!!

  12. i heard that before, but it was not at mcdonalds it was somewhere else i forget where it was.i think they said if you drop your own food on the floor it was okay to eat it as long as it was on the floor less than ten seconds. i think i saw it on a tv show.look up urbandictonary 10 second rule on your computer.

  13. I have a friend who used to work in McDonald's, and she has told me some real horror stories about the cleanliness of the kitchen areas,

One story was that after closing when they were cleaning up they regularly played a form of hockey with the frozen burgers and brooms.... she never said if the burgers were reused but from what I've heard of their super keen stock control they probably were

SO IN ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION YES VERY PROBABLY

BTW i haven't eaten at  McDonald's  since the story in the UK news papers about 15 years ago when someone found a live worm in their milkshake.

  14. i like mcdonalds but i reckon this probably happens in there and alot of places

  15. thats the rule in a lot of homes, like, as a joke. if kids drop something on the floor like a sweet, dad (usually) lets them eat it if its less than ten seconds. dont think many mums have this rule, and as for mccdonalds, well its yet another reason not to eat there cos who knows?

  16. idk but fast food it GROSS!!!!!!!

  17. Load of rubbish. With the way McDonald's are scrutinised by anyone and everybody who want to put the knife in, then I am sure  someone with a covert camera from the national press  would have had a film of such an occurrence on news at ten

  18. its not true its just bad practice by spotty teenagers.

  19. He's most likely winding you up.  McD's prepares the food in full view of the customers inside, and their food is so cheap, they can toss contaminated stuff without worry.  It is without a doubt against food codes to serve meat that has hit the ground, regardless of seconds.  The only exception is if it's wrapped, I guess.

Be afraid of the meat, not the germs on the ground.  All the legal crud they put into meat these days, and if it is ever improperly cooked or stored, you could be barfing for days from clean meat.
