  1. they dont. they make them in advance, and heat it up when you order it, and give it too you. gross isnt it. the grosser part is, sometimes they dont even heat it up correctly. ewwww

  2. repitition repitition repitition repitition repitition...

  3. Well we have the meat pre cooked kept in a warmer (but this meat is only kept for a certain period of time). Once your order goes through your bun is put through a toaster like thing. then put onto a wrapping which then they add the cheese, sauce and onions, then meat. It's meant to be made within 20 seconds.

  4. When I worked there in 98..year of the 49 cent cheeseburger they did it like this...

They have this thing on the grill that when closed can cook like 9 patties ( or a # close to that)..they only take like a min or two to cook and then they finish heating/cooking in the little slotted drawers until the hold time is up. If u need the as soon as they came off the girl u would cook two cycles instead of one.

  5. my friend works at maccas they just like chuck any random **** on a bun

  6. i dont know but they make them d**n GOOD!

  7. They fry them ahead of time and keep them ina warmer and add cheese when order.

  8. in australia you have 22 seconds to make a cheeseburger. the kitchen is set up so that 5 people pass the burger down, adding the ingredianceas they go. I was able to make on by myself in 7 seconds flat! including the time it takes to toast the bun

  9. i don't know i hate Mcdonalds

  10. Their grill is set up to cook them in a minute.  Sometimes they r seasoned.  and from there every thing is self explaianatory

  11. There are usually a bunch ready and waiting and sitting under heat lamps.  They really don't take long to make given how thin they are....only takes a couple of minutes to cook on the grill.

  12. I'd like to think that in Australia they are made fresh, but I've had too many lukewarm ones now, have lost faith :(

  13. how do _I_ make them so quickly? I walk in, give them and order, and within 60 minutes or so I get the burgers...

oh wait, no, that was for one of their little dessert pies... sorry about that.

I suspect the burgers are pre-cooked, then steamed or microwaved to bring them back up to temp.

  14. The meat for a cheeseburger is pre-cooked and kept for a short amount of time. The meat is cooked on clam grills, which means it cooks the top and bottom at the same time at extremely hot tempuratures, so it takes only about 45 seconds. Once the meat is cooked (usually by a person specifically designated to make meat and cook chicken products), it is kept in a heated cabinet.

The second a cheeseburger is punched into the till, it appears on a screen in the kitchen telling the cook to make it. The cook drops a bun into the toaster, which toasts it in 15 seconds. In the meantime, he/she gets out the wrapper, and attaches any grill slips for special orders, if necessary. Then, the ketchup and mustard are in bottle that dispense the right amounts, so they just do one squeeze, use one hand to add some onions and the other to add a pickle and a piece of cheese, then the "Finisher" (person putting on meat and wrapping sandwiches) adds the meat and wraps the burger. The target time for making a burger is 35-50 seconds.

  15. I beleive they make them before you order
