Mcdonalds coke!?

Question

Well I have noticed, when I get coke from mcdonalds, it tastes better then the ones you buy from the store. Why is that? do they put something in there coke to make it taste better or what?

it should taste worse...the water it down to make it go further. coca cola actually send companies a very very concentrated version. its up to the company to decide in the dilution factor. mcdonalds its terrible for it. i think it tastes awful.

why am i getting thumbs down? they send it out concentrated...fact? here in scotland mcdonalds coke is awful. what its like where you are is down to an opinion.

i think Coke from an automatic dispenser,glass,plastic bottles and can all taste different but surely being very cold makes the difference....and tastes the same...works for me :)

Syrup more concentrated! they are fighting complaints of weak sodas! which they are over 75% water(ice) included!

could be how its calibrated- ratio of mix/syrup to carbonated water.

Their lines are chilled so when the syrup is mixed with the carbonated water, it comes out cold...

Also there's a difference in the water/syrup ratio.

Its fountain cola instead of out of a can which is more potent.. and theres is ice cold... diet coke is my drink and I love a good fountain diet coke... I do think I like diet pepsi better though!

It might be the way they mix (calibrate) the syrup and the carbonated water...maybe it is a little more syrup or maybe it's just because it is fresh and with ice.

Because they hook up two things to the soda fountain... Fresh carbonated water, and the syrup in the flavor of coca-cola, mountain dew, dr. Pepper ... And this syrup is very concentrated... The thicker that syrup runs thru the machicne, the more flava u get.  They constantly have to replace the syrup... And there are definately times when the syrup starts running low... And that is when u end up with crappier soda because it is mostly the carbonated water.  Well, the McDonalds that u go to must be pretty good about keeping the syrups rotated if their coke always tastes great.  YUM!  Which one is it?  The McDonald's by me isn't so professional... But I think that's because alot of the employees are too busy in the backroom with a different kind of coke!  Yes, I live in the ghetto.

Sonic dive in has wonderful Coke, and I hate Coke. So I know what you mean, it seems to taste diffrent at diffrent places.

yeah and taco bells pepsi tastes better too. i love both so much. their setting is stronger to make it sweeter or something like that. also theres more syrup
