I have good knowledge of computers. Very little in networking. I took a few ccna classes in high schools(which were hard) would only score about a 70-75 (this is from just reading then taking test no hands on) I have read some of the mcse books, dont seem to be to hard answering some of the questions would score about the same as the cisco. Which one would be better? One where ill have more oppertunities for jobs, pay, easier, etc...

Also what should I expect to pay for both these exams, one place was around 8k for mcse and about 6-7k for ccna at community college. Dont have any money for me to self teach, as ill be getting student loans.

ill be going to take the a+ exams within the next month or so.

also I dont want to take any online courses or bootcamps nor do i wanna self teach.

  1. CCNA is tougher and has more practical trainings. It's also scaled higher on the working market, nevertheless it's a personal thing.... I would go for the hardst first where I create more working opportunities for myself.

MCSE compared with CCNA is much more theoretical.

And also the MCSE is often offered by companies....

The payment diverse a lot from company to company and from country to country.... and don't forget depending on your experience and your personal skills such as: autonomy, initiative and problem solver

    hope it helps

  2. I think u need  CCNA.   CCNA is the basic of Cisco certification. It can help u get jobs, pay easier.

  3. Check out the CCNA website and forums to get some good info, lots of people on the forums have or are taking the CCNA and should be able to give you some good advice.
