Question:

Me Me Me for the next Prime Minister?

You know, I was just thinking that if David Miliband and David Cameron can claim the job of Prime Minister as theirs (allegedly), and without having any experience or aptitude for the job (actually), can anyone else decide they are going to be the next PM, and get the job?

Is it me, or do those who decide that they are going to be the PM seem like some arrogant plonker from The Apprentice? You know, the ones who say, "I am the right person for this job because I am brilliant at everything. And it says so on my Face-Book page."

  1. You betray an amazing lack of political knowledge.

Both the Davids have had much political experience (whatever you think of their respective views)

Neither have claimed to be brilliant at everything.

Nor is Milliband 'claiming the job' of Prime Minister

  2. Don't know anything about Miliband, but I did see Cameron on Fareed Zakaria's show GPS and he seemed quite intelligent and reasonable.  I could be wrong, though, since I don't really follow your politics.

  3. Yes you can be the next PM as your policy statement is radically different from the two young Pretenders. They are dyslectic political sheep. They say BLA BLA BLA instead of BA BA BA. Your statement is honest, true and direct. A breath of fresh air, instead of stale diatribe.

  4. Believe me - anyone who takes on the job at the moment must be mad.

Rising inflation, rocketing energy prices and falling house prices and expensive credit is a nightmare, and anyone who takes over will be blamed for it all within 12 months. If you think things are bad now, just wait a year.

Add to that the fact that you have no more troops to send anywhere when the next place starts going gaga and you'll be glad you've got the job you've got now.
