Me and A friend are going to Paris, France next year...any good recommendations for anything?

Me and my friend are going to Paris...Never traveled out of the States....the farthest we have EVER gone is Mississippi....and when we seen the beach we looked like kids in a candy shop...(were from illinois, i know WOWWWY us) We go to states around us, but still.....this is our biggest trip EVER...we aint going till next year around february.....so we will have time to save....anything anyone can tell me...about passports, traveling over seas, paris itself....would begreat...she knows alot, but i would just like to know if there is a specific process you have to go through before you go or what...anything and everything would be great :-)

American citizens need only a passport to enter France.  You'll be given a short stay (90 day) visa when you arrive at the airport.

I would particularly recommend visiting : Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Louvre museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Place des Vosges (jewelleries), short cruise on 'La Seine' the main river, Butte-Montmarte-Sacré Coeur (basilica and typical parisian 'village'), Quartier Latin, Le Marais

Don't you want to postpone your trip in June to have a nicer temperature ?

First of all get a passport.  Then check out flights to Paris.  Usually the earlier you book, the cheaper it is.  And get a good guidebook, look at all the stuff that interests you, and work out an itinerary from there.  A guidebook will also give you some idea of hotels and costs.
