Me and My best friend are having problems..?

Question

Well to begin with,

Me and my best friend love each very much. and we wouldn't trade each other for anybody else. we like to let each other know that we'll replace each other.

But this past week, her friends from church have talked to me and well, they really like me as a friend. And she told me that she was jealous of the fact that her friends like me, and shes afraid that she might get replaced with one of her friends and that i might get close to them. I told her that she shouldn't worry about anything because she means everything to me. but now, me and one of her friends, ashley. have been talking on the internet for a past couple of days now. just friendly talkin, and when my best friend Sara, reads our comments[My space] she got kinda careless and was "Oh." and i clearly could tell that she was jealous and irritated by the fact that i was still talkin to her. And now she went to go hang out with our guy friend whom in which i get jealous of. and now i dont know how to solve this problem of ours.

What can i do?

what is there to do? Suggestions?

well.....maybe u should stay away from ashley a bit......cause sara doesn't seem to like it..........this means she loves u

i suggest u still talk to ashley, but not as often, and choose ur topics wisely....and of course u have to talk to sara more often than u usually do (especially more than the portion u talk to ashley) just so she believes that u won't replace her with anyone and u get another hang out friend.

and about her hanging out with the guy friend which u get jealous of, try to keep urself cool.  she's just craving for ur attention, so if u give her some maybe she'll stop doing it.

that's just my suggestion....i think she does like u more than a friend, so...

well.. ill just start with... unless one of you is g*y.. you both like each other! And if that is completely out of the question then i would say that if you dont want her to be jealous of you, then you should perhaps not be jealous of her..? i know that guy/girl friendships can be tough and kinda weird sometimes, but honeslty.. i dont think i have ever encountered one where one of the parties didnt have a bit of a crush on the other ;)

clearly you guys want to be more than just best friends, maybe you guys should go to the next step. show her how much you actually care about her, and if you wanna be romantic about it ask her friends that you're already talking to and then you can say you were just talking to them to see if she liked you or to get good ideas on how to ask her out.

PLEASE! this sounds like a case of "ring around the rosie" or perhaps the blame game, as i call it. why would you even worry about something you cannot control?
