Me and a few of my friends been talkin about going to puerto rico for a week?

what would be a good cheap hotel for us to stay in? none of us make much money, we can get good deals on airfare too (we puerto rican by decent). i dunno where we be going, maybe Ponce? what are some good but CHEAP hotels in Puerto Rico for 4-6 people?

u may wanna go to the northeastern part of the island, in fajardo they have lots of cheap hotels and they are not trashy looking or dead beat ones (umay want to avoid motels), they have american hotel companies, that u are going to recognize, basically for the same price as US, maybe a few cents of tax but thats about it. from fajardo u could go to culebras and vieques.

Me and my friends are staying at the Comfort Inn San Juan which is pretty cheap.  Theres also another one in San Juan called the San Juan Beach Hotel and it was crazy cheap, but the reviews weren't that great.  

What I did was go on Expedia.com.  I checked hotels in PR by sorting out the price column.  They have pictures and reviews of all the hotels in PR as well as their prices.  You can get a good sense of what is available out there.
