Me and a friend are going to Cedar Point soon. How can I best prepare myself and when is best time to go?

I've never been there before and I'm kinda scared going on those big rides. Any info about Cedar Point will be helpful.

During the week and when it first opens (weekends are jammed packed) check out park time though that way you can get there and hit them before the crowds do. Prepare to stay from when it opens till when it goes down and put on your walking shoes. Unless you want to take the cable cars they will save time from getting from one end of the park to the next.

I recommend you go during the week cuz on the weekends its packed. Just get on the ride and then you might get scared so you can't back out though cuz u are already on it and trust me you'll love the rides.

do NOT go during the weekend. it is jam packed! and i wouldnt advice going on hot days it is a living heck. bring lots of water too... have fun! Cedar Point is one of the most awesome places ever!

I know it is not soon, but my favorite time to go is for the hallo-weekends in Oct.  It's not as crowded and the weather is not too hot.  They have Haunted Houses and the whole park is decorated for Halloween.
