  1. Sort of half and half, like any bar in NY or Boston - they have tourists, but they get locals too. You can't avoid tourists entirely if you are in a city with a lot of tourism, but you will still have fun.

  2. Yeah Dublin is a city for everyone, locals and tourists alike. You wont find many of the stereotypical (something that looks like it just stepped out of a 17th  century novel) Irish pubs around just the authentic. Depending where you're from you might be surprised how different Ireland is to your expectations.

Hope you have a great time.

  3. I think you'll be hard pressed to find many pubs that ARE tourist traps! I think you underestimate the Irish love of drinking, also Ireland is not a massive tourist destination. But if you really want to get salt of the earth genuine you want to go slightly out of Dublin, get rural or alternatively just ask an Irish cabby where he drinks! Just be careful, get too local and you may feel slightly out of place as tourists. Best of luck to you!

  4. hi you

i think you will be Glad to hear that there many pub like that in Dublin

  5. Here's two choices, depending upon what you want.

-Woolshed Baa & Grill - Big Pub, they have trivia games, wet T-shirt contest, a variety of things go on there.

-Ha Penny Bridge Inn - Small quiet Pub
