Need a Baby-Sitter?

Hey! I am Beth Hahn! I am 13 and love to baby-sit children. I have had experience and passed the baby -sitting class. I am good with children and I was hoping maybe I could baby-sit your children sometime. It doesn’t matter the age of children/child. You can choose the amount to pay me also! Please give me a call or an email! If you email, please email at least 3 days before I have to baby-sit

I left put my personal information but it is on the flyer that i have yet printed out. Would it work? What else could i do?

  1. I'm sorry, but I am a sitter and do not think that this will help you much. I find that word of mouth has worked the best for me over the last three years and when I started sitting at the age of 11 people where not as picky about age and experiance as they are now. So just be careful and do not post these they are just a safety problem and men could start calling you to come over "to sit their kids" and they not have any. I would talk with friends and your parents friend just say if you know anyone that you are able.

  2. well thats a pretty good ad but u should mention something about ur experiences or how u know cpr and then they'll probably call u for babysitting because they know that u know what to do and had past experience

  3. You might want to put the flier up in grocery stores and wherever else they have a public bulletin board. You could probably put them in the mailboxes on your street. Because people have visitors in their home: They get your flier out of the mailbox, sit it somewhere in their house, in plain view and...someone comes over and sees it. You might have a new client. Get it? It's like someone else advertising for you.

  4. How about if you try to shorten it up and make it a bit more professional.? You can say something like.

(Get some VERY bright pink or green flyer paper to print)

This way it's short and sweet and the mom can look fast, see the name, number, where you live, (put all of that in BOLD so it sticks out) and when you can sit. You may want to be more open at first then telling them they have to email you 3 days ahead of time. Best way to get a mom hooked on calling you is to always be available and then she passes the info on to her friends and says how great you are and she can always call you. THEN you can start filling up your appoinment book and saying they have to call ahead (get it?) Don't sell yourself short, make your rate $1 less than the average and that will help you as well. Don't work for peanuts or they will treat you like a monkey and you aren't!

    Good Luck Beth~.

  5. You made my eyes watery. You are so young and so focus on what you want to do. When you say that the costumer can choose the amount of money they want to pay you it made me almost cry. that means a lot to me.  I really wish you can find some kids to baby-sit. I think you are going to have a lot of success in life...Keep that level of motivation and dedication, that is my advice. I wish you the best girl!!!

  6. dont kill the baby

  7. baby sit is very responsibility job, and you are to Yang for this, yet.
