Me and my bff like the same boy... help!?

Age 10. Fifth grader.

Me and my best friend like the same boy but i think he likes her. Or someone else. Is it strange for a girl to ask a boy out? I really like him. I've liked him for two years now! I practically love him. What if I end up asking him out and he says no!?

When I was in the sixth grade I told the boy I liked that I liked him.  He pretty much said, Oh gross, like a girl?  And stayed away from me for the rest of the year.

When I was in the eighth grade I didn't tell the boy I liked that I liked him.  I just hung around him a lot.  Years later he said he wished I told him.

There's a big difference in 2 to 3 years of age.  

I'd recommend you keeping your best friend, neither one of you telling the boy of your feelings for him.

You might discus with your friend, what if the boy says he likes one of you.  Can you still be friends?  

Maybe he'll like her now, but he'll like you in 8th or 9th grade when you can go to a dance.

Aww. Poor you to be in this situation!! :( THis totally happend to me too. I think you should talk to ur bff about it, and see if it would hurt her to ask him out, cuz that could loose trust between you if she likes him too.. No its not wierd to ask boys out, but you are only 10, i suggest just being friends, having crushes, and enjoying life. Bcz trust mee, you will get wayyyy too stresed out about it.. Hope this helps! 10 YEARS OLD???!!! Are you serious? Right know you should be worrying about what you are going to wear to school tomorrow not worrying about a boy. You need to get over this. You will have plenty of boys to choose from WHEN YOU GET OLDER.

YOU LOVE HIM?? YOU JUST HAVE NO IDEA WHAT LOVE IS. YOU WILL HATE IT WHEN YOU TRULY DO FALL IN LOVE.
