  1. Everything you mentioned is allowed....EVERYTHING...even your cellphone. Don't worry about confiscation. The Cuban officials know you're bringing these for your trip as your personal belongings. Walkie talkies are even now allowed.

And yes, bring it on the plane with you. It's safer to keep these items on your personal being instead of in your luggage in case anything gets lost.

Be sure to take the proper voltage converters/adapters specifically for these items and extra batteries (and rechargeables)....they get pretty expensive there.

    Have an amazing time!!

  2. Almost everything is allowed these days including cameras,

MP3, videoplayers, laptops. In general you will not encounter problems.

As a precaution it's wise to take with you copies of the invoices in case , if asked, you can prove the ownership of the apparatus. In the worst case, when you are importing very expensive electronic stuff they can ask you to register the apparatus at the customs office, in this way they can check if the electronic apparatus will be exported  again after your vacation and was not sold in Cuba. Don't worry this does not happen frequently.

Enjoy your stay, and pay a visit to Havana.
