  1. Yes, I have been on this cruise ship and I have been to a lot of these ports.

The ship is really fun. It is espeically geared for kids and families. There is a really cool ice skating rink which you should check out as well as fun shows and events. You will enjoy just being on the Mariner no matter what.

The ports you are going to are really fun, espcially grand cayman (I strongly encourage the tour where you get to visit h**l, the rum cake facoty, the turtle farm, and go swim with the sting rays. It' the best one and it books up fast).

The time your going is around when I usually go (december over christmas). The weather has been nice for me. I have been to the grand caymans 3 times, and only once was it slightly rainy. I would say the weather should be pretty good around that time.

  2. There may not be many young people on a cruise at that time of year, as most will be in school.

That time is also nearing the end of the hurricane season, so you may be less likely to have that to deal with.
