  1. What part of Saskatchewan?

I've got very fond memories of my living there.

    Though it's no utopia.

Still, I'd go back if I had the chance.

People were absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, I was welcome and among friends.

Winters are harsh. And some cities, towns, villages are tiny.

But, my...do they enjoy life there!

  2. Well I grew up there and I have to say there isnt to much to do to please all different tastes. Most young people in saskatchewan have a main goal of leaving the province once able to get out on their own. Things are booming in sask now but they have alot of work to do there, they have consistently lost population for many years now and they also have a major problem with crime. I got my bike stolen about 4 times growing up, nuff said. Saskatoon and Regina have the highest  crime rates in all of Canada, you are much safer in Vancouver Montreal and Toronto as crazy as it sounds.

If you like a slow pace and a fairly relaxed atmosphere, sask is a very good place to be. One of the things that would make sask attractive to the average person is expense of living. But that is no longer true for sask. For sure sask has a bright economic future, lots of resources and not that many people means lots of cash. Give it 2 decades and it should be alot better, but they have alot of work to do.

  3. from what i hear

    things are booming there

hope you don't mind long cold winters though

  4. kids have an easy time drawing the provincial boundries all they need is a pencil and a ruler.  LOL

Been to Regina and it was a nice place but the surrounding area was well....... OK its flat as a pancake, you could see the thunderstorm coming hours away.

  5. Geography is easy. Flat with square corners.

Highest point is 1468 meters above sea level. Goes downhill from there in all directions. Lowest point is 213 meters.

The road is straight and fast, takes less than a day to drive across.

Climate is easy too: two seasons; cold and bad dogsledding season.

Culture: Roughrider football, and yogurt cups.

    Sports: Curling

    Industries; Wheat potash oil.

    You'll love it.
