For your wedding? i have seen a lot less possible, Its a matter of alot of things really you need to look around and try to get an idea of how much to budget. you have to keep in mind that the less amount of money the les amount of decorations and things which will be fine as long as you are not a bridezilla. :)  Just keep in mind you have flowers and dresses and hair and church/tux/reception hall rental plus the food at the reception.  Like i said its important to just save up your money as you look around and write down everything that you want and try to figure out an estimated overal cost. Its all about the things you want for your wedding as well as the quality, you can have a beautiful weddin on a much smaller budget as long as you are smart with your choices and money. the problem many brides have is they want simple and cheap until they start seeing all the beautiful options they have then "its just another thousand honey" happens alot

If you mean for a wedding, it depends on what your expectations are and how large a wedding you are planning.  My husband and I had to pay for our wedding ourselves, and we did it for about $5,000, and that included our honeymoon.  We had to do a lot of work to do ourselves, but it was worth it.  Looking back I'm really glad that we did it the way that we did.  We saved a lot of money, and our wedding was beautiful.  I have friends that spent $20,000 or more on their weddings, and I don't think that theirs was any better than mine.  Besides, what matters is that at the end of the day you are husband and wife, right?
