Me and my fiance are getting married in the columbus,ga court house in 2 weeks. Do we need to have a witness?

He's in the Army and he has a 2 day pass so we were gonna go to the court house and get married. I know they offer same day marriage but do we need an appointment, and do we need to have a witness?

Hi.  I don't know about the witnesses, but when you call to make an appointment (for the wedding), you can ask.  And, YES, you usually DO need to make an appointment.  I have never heard of "walk-in" weddings.
