Me and my fiance are going on a cruise for our honeymoon?

Question

I was talking to my cruise specialist trying to see if they would let us have a table to ourselves. She then said that they do something special for people on their honeymoons on one of the formal nights, does anyone know what this might be just curious.

Not sure of the cruise line but all of them will usually get the rooms attention, have several people sing to you and give you a cake and maybe a glass of champagne.  Fun but embarrassing.  It's fun to celebrate with a table full of people so you can share the cake that is if you don't intend to use it in your cabin later!

I went on a Royal Carribean cruise for my honeymoon and they did let us have our own table.  It shouldn't be a problem.  Congrats and enjoy the cruise.

Are you going on carnival? If so, they bring out a little cake with "happy honeymoon" written on it, and sing an embarassing little tune of which you have to kiss the entire way through.

when you book your cruise ask for a table for 2 for dinner (unless you are cruising Norwegian then you ask for a table for 2 when you get to the freestyle dining restaurants.) if you don;t get assigned a table for two on the other lines, see the maitre d' when you board and ask that you get you table changed (you might want to slide him/her some cash as well for hooking you up).

my wife and i cruised Carnival on our honeymoon. we were at a table with eight other guest, 2 of which were on their honeymoon as well. it is fun to meet others and possibly make new friends.

They actually don't let you ask for a table for 2 on Carnival anymore. You can talk to the matre'd as soon as you get on board and ask for one. Carnival actually doesn't even take orders for small.large table anymore, nor do they take honeymoons, birthdays or anniversary requests anymore- Princess, RC, Celebrity all the rest do, but that is something Carnival stopped doing. Again, talk to the maitre'd asap when you get on board if you want to do something special.

Well, ob the Princess cruise line, they may sing you a song and bring you a special dessert just for the two of you. You also get some balloons at your cabin door.
