  1. ummm me and my husband live in germany now and are about to pcs to the states.its really beautiful here.cold cold winters and snow lol lots of it.the summer is hot!some days are nice though.theres no screens on the windows to youll have to get some or the bugs will be everywhere.

i sure hope you hubby wont be going to iraq seeing how vilseck will be deploying soon.mine just came back thank god!!

dont be scared of being outside the states though. We lived in korea too.it does take some time to get use to though.really you will have lots to get use to.the army housing is different here.yall will be here for 3 years and i think you will like it.

be sure to go and see lots of things though.its not really expensive to travel in europe.MAKE SURE YOUR HUBBY GETS HIS PASS PORT TOO!!!!me and mine ran into that problem cause he forgot to get it while we were in korea so the places you have to have one we cant go.hope you have fun and enjoy!!

  2. tho not required, learn German and you'll enjoy yourself a

lot more. It's beautiful country, liked it all but my favorite

was down in the Garmische area and castles all over the

place. If you get involved with the volkes marches you'll see

much of it by foot. Keep a smile on your face and you'll

find the Germans to be a very friendly people. -- Be a good

ambassador and you'll love your tour

  3. dont worry. it is beautiful and safe. zero crime. travel is easy and cheap to anywhere in Europe. you will love it. just dont stay at home when you get here. you have to get out and see europe.
