  1. There are several things that you can do to increase your chances of fertility. Both of you need to eat right, exercise daily, avoid alcohol and caffeine, and cut back on stress in your life. For more tips on becoming pregnant, you can check out this blog.

  4. Hi Kelsey,

There is lots you can do to increase your chances of getting pregnant.

As boring as it might sound, preconception multi-vitamins and minerals are a great way of giving your fertility a boost, your fiance included. Don't just go for an every day multi though, seek out supplements that have been specifically designed to assist your reproductive health, they will include higher doses of the most important elements your body needs.

A great tip also is to realise there are lots of things you could be doing everyday that decreases your chances such as smoking and drinking coffee. Coffee can push your waiting time to get pregnant out to double what it might normally be and that is for only a little over one cup a day....Watch out for chocolate too as it is the caffeine that is the culprit.

A good clean healthy living lifestyle combined with preconception supplements has been proven to increase your chances by up to 80% so it is well worth giving up some of those everyday indulgences for a little while.

Last but certainly not least, knowing when you are ovulating is absolutely critical. The best way to determine this is with Ovulation Predictor Kits. You can get these at drug stores, supermarkets and on-line. Once you have used the less expensive, non-digital ones a few times you will get to recognise easily when you are about to ovulate. Testing twice a day when approaching ovulation is also a must.

I hope this month is your turn to get pregnant. Best of luck.

  5. Just relax, eat healthy, stay away from the no-no's like caffeine and alcohol. Plenty of practice helps too, but be careful not to make s*x a chore.

  6. Heyyy =]

There are a few things you can do to help conceiving a little easier.

First is checking your BBT ( Basal Body Temperature) this is taken with a special thermometer you can buy on like or at a drug store like Rite-Aid, Wal-Mart etc. I got mine on line at www.babyhopes.com. Anyways, this is taken first thing in the morning at the same time every day before you even get out of bed. You need about 4 to 5 hrs for a accurate reading. This helps determine when you ovulate. Also you can start using OPK (Ovulation Predictor Kits) these also determine when you ovulate and give you a good reading as to when you can conceive. If you havent gone to the DR make an appt and go and get checked out. Just make sure that there is nothing wrong with you etc. Cant hurt to start to rule things out. Also have you partner go and get his sperm checked. The last thing is not to stress. It take on average a yr for couples to conceive. Anything over a yr you would need to go and seek some help. I hope this helped. Good luck TTC.
