Me and my fiance want to have a baby really bad, my last period ended the 28th august. when should we try?

my fiance and I have been together for several years now, We are ready for the next step and our biggest desire is to start a family. We have been trying really hard to get pregnant but don't know when I start to ovualte. My last period was the 28th August so when should we try?

Have s*x every day and you're less likely to miss it. :P

There are ways to "calculate" when you are ovulating, but everyone is so different that it's very difficult to pinpoint a single day.

Nobody can really give you an answer because not all women ovulate on the same schedule.  You could ovulate on day 12 or day 18 of your cycle.  There is really no way to know.  Its hard to say when you might have ovulated since I don't know how long your period was.  A really good book that could help you would be Taking Charge of Your Fertility.  It explains a lot about cycles and how to figure out when you ovulate so you can acheive pregnancy or prevent it.  It's a very informative book.  Good luck!

Try on the 10th, 12th and 14th day from the 1st day of Periods. it means to try, Having Intercourse on 07 Sept, 09 Sep and 11Sept

Try 14 days after that date. Dont try to many times a day as the sperm count could get low. But baby dust to us all TTC

I would say your best bet is to try charting your temperature or doing a ovulation test. It does work for some people and this may be your best bet at finding out your ovulation date.

If your still having trouble after you have tried charting and doing a ovulation test maybe see your doctor or a gyno. It could be due to a number of reasons.

its common for woman to ovulate 14 days from when your period stops.. i know i do.. but then some woman have a long cycle ie can be more than 28 days long before they have each period.. its just a case of hit and miss and have fun in the process!! good luck
