Which is a bummer, i found the perfect one too :( but we are looking for idea of a new animal we can have as a pet in Colorado. We were up for making the changes of having a mokey so thats really not a big deal. We are just looking for something different. Thanks

  1. Ferret :D

  2. What's wrong with a good ol' dog or cat?  They are all very different from each other with their own personalities.  Many "different" pets aren't that friendly and haven't been bred to be good pets.

If those are just too boring for you - how about a pot bellied pig, or ferret?

  3. Have you ever been around anyone who had a monkey as a pet?  Well I have and wouldn't advise it.  They are cute, but they do throw poo and vomit and can be very aggressive.  I had a landlord years ago that had a capuchin monkey and I was bitten when my grand daughter got too close to the cage and the thing grabbed her hair.  I, of course was trying to detangle it's fingers from her hair and got bitten, stiches and Mr. Monkey went to the zoo.  They are a lot of work.

  4. Just have a baby- it would be less work than a monkey. Sugar gliders are kind of monkey-ish, maybe you could get one of those.

  5. Yes, you can own them, but you have to have a license.

I know a couple who owns 3 monkeys, and she had to get a license. [: Thats really all.

There really nice pets ive heard, and super cute.

Hope you get one and have a blast!

  6. Just as well, monkeys are not pets. Cats and dogs are domesticated animals who like to live alongside humans. The animals you call 'different' pets are not meant to be pets. Try to think of the animal rather than just what you want.
