Me and my friend both play FFXI But we are both on different servers!?

Me and my friend both play Final Fantasy XI Online. The Only problem is that he is on a different Server. How do i switch? Also because i want a really populated server because i never see enough people. Someone please help me with how to switch servers

Or you can make a new character on his server.

Since your asking this question, Im guessing your a new player. All the servers are pretty well populated, although some are more than others. However, regardless, if your in a stater city (Windurst, Bastok, San d'Oria) or the areas surrounding it, you wont see many players. Most the players are not in the starter cities. The farther you get in the game, the more players youll find.
