Me and my friend both want to be captin of the cheerleading squad?

me and my friends are starting a cheerleading team for our school next year im in precompetetive gymnastics so i kno alot of stuff. i was also in cheerleading last year so i kno alot of jumps stunts and stuff. but my friend wants to be captin and i wanna be captin too she thinks she deserves to be captin because she can ***** at people if they whine and stuff but she dosnt kno many tumblin moves and stuff but as i said before im in precompetetive gymnastics and i was in cheerleading before so what should i do i dont wanna diss her and stuff but bitchin at people arnt how u be captin what should i do?

You both need to support each other if you are that good of friends. Let the team decide who the Captain will be and which ever one gets it the other needs to help and support the other. Cheerleading will only last so long,, good friends are a lifetime

the team always decided in our squads.  maybe co-captains.

Take a poll and whoever ends up being the captian, the other person needs to be happy for that person who is the captian. If that doesn't work, what is so wrong about you both being captians? There's nothing wrong with sharing something.  You can show your friend how to do the things you know how to do and if she can do something you can't she can show you how to do it. Good luck
