  1. if you touch the egg with bare hands it wont hatch.

well thats wat i heard at least.

  2. I won't be able to help since I don't know where you live and what birds are native to your area.

Look on this site you can read the descriptions and look at the pictures to find the bird and egg that best matches what you found:

    http://www.sialis.org/nests.htm

It won't hatch if its not being kept warm. If you don't have a incubator and don't know exactly the kind of bird that laid it, so you know what temperature to put the incubator at, it won't hatch.

  3. Unless you have an incubator and know what kind of bird it is, odds are you won't be able to hatch it.  Birds need a certain humidity and heat to hatch, not to mention turning (or not turning) the egg.  You could candle the egg... hold a bright light source behind the egg and see if you can see a shape in it.  It also sounds like a robin's egg to me.  However, it's likely the egg is infertile and is going to start rotting if you found it on the ground or in an abandoned nest.

  4. leave it alone!

    its mother will come back

if you touch it the mother wont want it anymore. trust me ive done it when i was young. just leave it alone and find something more amusing.

its hard  and stupid for a little kid to raise a wild bird.

idk what kinda egg it is

  5. have you touched it? if not, leave it....... if u did....... first you need to figure out if it's worth taking care of. Go into a dark room with a flashlight and shine the light through the egg.... look through the other side. If there is immediately get a towel and a baggy. fill the baggy with water. do not fill it all the way though. the water should be a small about hotter than room temperature.  then find a good spot to place the bag and lay the towel over it. leave enough towel to cover the egg. then cover the egg and check the water every day about three times a day. keep it nice and cozy....... :)

  6. leave it be
